Job Description

We are seeking a talented and professional Event Server to join our team at The Party Staff, Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on some of the highest-profile events in town and gain valuable experience in the hospitality industry.

About The Job

  • As an Event Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to clients and guests at various events, including weddings, corporate functions, and private parties.
  • You will work closely with our experienced team to ensure seamless event execution and deliver outstanding customer experiences.
  • This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attend pre-event meetings to discuss client requirements and develop a comprehensive plan for event execution.
  • Set up and break down event spaces, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in place and accounted for.
  • Provide attentive and courteous service to clients and guests throughout the event.
  • Manage cash handling and point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to company standards for quality and presentation.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in food and beverage service or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and stand for long periods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
