Job Summary

The Flight Paramedic is a critical member of our team, responsible for providing advanced critical care during medical transports. As the first point of contact for patients in emergency situations, the Paramedic must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with healthcare professionals and emergency responders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acquire and maintain advanced skill sets in emergency and critical care transport medicine
  • Participate in transport briefings and debriefings, ensuring safety, clinical excellence, and process improvement
  • Maintain a constant state of readiness, adhering to regulatory requirements and ensuring compliance with all license, certification, immunization, and education needs
  • Actively participate in quality management programs, ensuring a constant state of regulatory readiness
  • Develop and maintain rapport with health system staff, physicians, and leaders, exhibiting professionalism and respectful demeanor at all times
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of paramedic experience in a high-volume 911 or critical care setting
  • Associates degree or higher preferred
  • Previous air medical experience preferred
