About the Job

The Dishwasher is a vital member of our restaurant operations team, ensuring that guests have an exceptional dining experience. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and atmosphere of our restaurant, which includes assisting chefs in keeping kitchens fully operational.

Main Responsibilities

  • Maintain kitchen stock by retrieving supplies and keeping utensils and plates clean and sanitary at all times.
  • Organize, rinse, and run dishes and utensils through the dishwasher; unload and organize according to set guidelines.
  • Ensure a safe and clean work area by following sanitation standards and procedures, complying with legal regulations.
  • Provide food and utensils for chefs by carrying pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from workstations, stoves, and refrigerators.
  • Maintain food quality by storing foods in designated areas, minimizing spoilage.
  • Keep equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, maintaining supplies, and performing preventative maintenance.
  • Maintain appropriate levels of needed dishes and utensils.
  • Segregate and remove waste according to company standards.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Some High School education or equivalent required.
  • Must be flexible regarding scheduling based on business demands, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Successful completion of criminal background check and drug screen required.
