About the Job

LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team in Alamosa, Colorado. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our patients in their homes.

Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with physical disabilities or impairments.
  • Provide exercise instruction and patient education to promote independence and improve overall well-being.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.
  • Document patient progress and communicate with supervising Physical Therapists and other healthcare professionals.
Requirements
  • Current licensure, registration, or certification to assist in the practice of physical therapy in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
