We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Practical Nurse to join our team at Massachusetts General Hospital.

As a Practical Nurse in our Ambulatory Care department, you will provide direct and indirect nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessments, treatments, and medications administration.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and efficiently.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical best practices.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current license as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Graduation from an approved practical nursing program.
  • Proficiency in wound care, venipuncture, and injection administration.
  • BLS certification.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This is a full-time position with standard hours of 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The estimated annual salary for this role is $83,000-$110,000 based on location and experience.
