Job Summary

The Sales Manager, General Aviation will lead the sales and marketing efforts for Safran Aerosystems Services in the Americas region. This role will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to improve brand awareness, retain business, and grow sales. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the General Aviation industry and customer network, as well as excellent sales and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Lead GA Sales initiatives to improve brand awareness, retain business, and grow sales
Sustain rapport with key accounts through regular visits and exploring specific needs
Participate in formulating and developing long-range sales and marketing goals and objectives
Source new business with current and new customers to meet defined sales goals
Accomplish marketing and sales objectives by planning, developing, and implementing advertising, merchandising, and trade promotion programs

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
5-10 years of experience in sales and marketing, preferably in the General Aviation industry
Excellent sales and communication skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public

Work Environment

The Sales Manager, General Aviation will work primarily in an office environment, with occasional travel required (45% estimated). The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management and organizational skills.
