Medical Staff Services Coordinator

The Detroit Medical Center Shared Services is a leading healthcare organization that provides world-class care to patients and families in Michigan and beyond.
As a Medical Staff Services Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our radiology division.
Your primary responsibilities will include data analysis and reporting, researching and gathering information to assist the radiology management team in informational and statistical reporting.
You will also serve as the designated IT radiology point person for testing, review, and approval of radiology enhancement requests.
Additionally, you will assist in coordinating system initiatives for process improvements, such as billing compliance, online scheduling, and staff educational tools.
Key qualifications for this role include an associate's degree in a related technical or administrative discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer science or information systems experience is preferred, as well as two or more years of progressively responsible technical experience with EMR or Radiology Information Systems.
Communication and analytical skills are essential for this role, as you will be working with internal and external customers to discuss and interpret technical information.
Conflict resolution skills are also necessary, as you will be working with various stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
Project management and organizational skills are also required, as you will be responsible for accomplishing goals and objectives in a timely and resourceful manner.
