Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 per yearJob Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Biochemical Technician Specialist to join our team in a laboratory setting onsite. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently manufacturing products according to Synsus quality standards using process and lab equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manufacturing Operations: Follow and document batches according to the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), which provides a detailed written method of instructions, and formula for blending specific ingredients in precise amounts for the manufacture of specialty liquid fertilizers or agricultural products.
• Process Control: Understand the key process variables which impact product quality, consistency and how to control and troubleshoot them.
• Preparation and Maintenance: Prepares and makes ready all materials for manufacturing. Monitors change of temperature, pressure, visual appearance, physical changes, and other significant developments which serve as an indication of process progress.
• Collaboration and Communication: Works with operators, planners, quality department, process engineering, maintenance, shipping / receiving and plant manager as a team to provide excellent service to customers. Able to communicate any change or discrepancy to equipment or batches in a timely manner, clearly and effectively across the team.
• Maintenance and Housekeeping: Maintain clean work areas, clean manufacturing and storage tanks, all lines and other equipment, using water and various cleaning agents as required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in math, reading comprehension, and mechanical reasoning with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical Abilities: Able to become respirator fit tested for safe operations and perform minor maintenance tasks as required to keep processes operating.

Working Environment:

• Laboratory Setting: The employee will primarily be in a laboratory setting onsite, with occasional plant walk throughs to assist in quality related matters.
• Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is typically minimal, with normal chemical manufacturing duties occurring daily.
