Pediatric Anesthesiologist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our team at Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a Pediatric Anesthesiologist, you will be responsible for providing anesthesiology services to pediatric patients, ensuring their safety and comfort during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer anesthesiology to surgical patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
  • Perform anesthesiology services and administrative functions, coordinating patient care and administrative activities.
  • Monitor and evaluate anesthesiology activities to determine compliance with established standards of patient care, policies, and regulations.
  • Participate in educational requirements of the Anesthesia and Operative Service, including attendance in morning report.
  • Provide anesthesiology services for surgical patients, including non-surgical patients requiring anesthesia support in remote areas of the hospital.
Requirements:
  • Must be a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Osteopathy (D.O.) who is a Board Certified Diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology.
  • Must have and maintain a valid, unrestricted license from any U.S. state, District of Columbia; or U.S. territory or jurisdiction to provide health care within the scope of practice for a specific health care discipline.
  • Must be currently trained, certified, and maintain qualification in CPR and emergency cardiac care as evidenced by successful training and certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Subspecialty certification (i.e., six month concentrated rotation in pediatrics with letter) or pediatric fellowship training is required.
