Orthopedic Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced Orthopedic Nurse to join our team at Williamson Health in Franklin, Tennessee.
About the RoleThis is a night shift position on our adult medical/surgical unit with patient population ranging from adolescent to geriatric. You will be responsible for coordinating and implementing nursing services for adult patients with orthopedic conditions, including surgical patients and those requiring rehabilitation care.
Key Responsibilities- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans to promote optimal health outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring safe and accurate delivery
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and modify care plans as necessary
- Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, patients, and families to ensure seamless care coordination
- Participate in staff development and education initiatives to enhance skills and knowledge
To be successful in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse in an acute care setting
- Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee
- Knowledge of orthopedic conditions and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
