Senior Retail Sales and Merchandising Manager

Micro Center is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Senior Retail Sales and Merchandising Manager to lead our high-volume store. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a safe and organized store environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Lead sales floor teams to resolve customer issues promptly and effectively.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve customer satisfaction, sales, and productivity goals.
  • Ensure the execution of visual merchandising and ad set standards.
  • Provide coaching and feedback to supervisors and associates to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Review P&L statements and identify areas for improvement, recommending sales strategies to the General Manager.
  • Participate in open and close procedures and serve as manager-in-charge during absences.
  • Manage freight flow, merchandise processing, and inventory control.
  • Develop and coach supervisors and sales associates in product knowledge, solution selling, and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure human resource issues are handled in accordance with guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Two or more years of experience in a high-volume, big-box retailer, preferably in a commissioned sales environment or within the consumer electronics industry.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience in all aspects of retail management, including sales, merchandising, operations, and customer service.
  • Experience in human resources functions, including hiring, retaining, and coaching qualified employees.
  • Ability to execute corporate initiatives and analyze the competition.
  • Physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs., stand for prolonged periods of time.
