We are seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team at MRG Exams, a leading provider of Independent Medical Exams. As a Clinical Psychologist - Disability Assessment Specialist, you will play a critical role in serving the Veteran community by performing medical assessments on United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process.

Job OverviewThis is an exciting opportunity for a Licensed Psychologist to take on an assessment role and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our nation's heroes. As a Clinical Psychologist - Disability Assessment Specialist, you will work independently to review behavioral health records electronically through a secure Web Portal and conduct comprehensive assessments in person with each Veteran.
You will also complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal. The Licensed Psychologist does not make disability determinations; the U.S. Veterans Administration makes all disability determinations, in part using the findings recorded in the DBQs. This role involves performing Disability Assessments on Veterans only and does not involve treatment or prescribing medication.
As a Clinical Psychologist - Disability Assessment Specialist, you can expect to assess approximately 4 Veterans per day on average. You will be working as an Independent Contractor and have a flexible schedule with Part-Time hours on Thursday and Friday. This is an IN-PERSON position.
