Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Clinical Operations Coordinator to join our team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in scheduling procedures and appointments, ensuring seamless communication between patients, physicians, and staff.

About the Role

This is a fast-paced position that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a hospital setting and be familiar with medical terminology. You will work closely with our clinical teams to coordinate patient care, manage schedules, and maintain accurate records. Your ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and maintain a calm demeanor under pressure will be essential in this role.

Responsibilities

- Schedule patients for same-day inpatient procedures, laboratory testing, ancillaries, physician appointments, ICD and pacemaker appointments
- Notify patients of appointments, labs, testing, procedures, and preparation
- Coordinate inpatient transfers and admissions
- Maintain accurate records and update master schedule as needed
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
- Perform other duties as required or assigned

Requirements

- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a hospital setting
- Familiarity with word processing techniques and medical terminology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and perform multiple tasks simultaneously
