Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Breakfast Attendant to join our team at The Lodge on Lake Oconee. This role is ideal for individuals who possess excellent people skills, are motivated, and attentive to provide our guests with an exceptional dining experience.

About the Job
As a Breakfast Attendant, you will be responsible for setting up and breaking down the breakfast buffet each morning. This includes preparing hot foods, keeping the entire buffet line stocked, and maintaining the cleanliness of the kitchen and breakfast room. Your additional responsibilities will include carrying coffee pots and beverages throughout the room, refilling guests' cups and glasses as needed or requested, and removing used dishes and utensils.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clear tables during breakfast using proper methods for removing dishes, glassware, and silverware in a timely manner
  • Wipe down service lines, beverage dispensers, and other equipment according to health and safety regulations
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve issues in a timely, friendly, and efficient manner
  • Ensure setup is complete each morning for the breakfast buffet and fresh foods are always available during the service hours
  • Clean the breakfast area, including the tables, chairs, and buffet bar as needed, and empty garbage

Requirements
  • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry
  • Outstanding time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with guests and other team members
  • This role requires a strong emphasis on putting the guest first and providing exceptional customer service
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent certification (GED)
  • Experience in food service is REQUIRED
