Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at St. Luke's Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist radiologists during invasive procedures and perform CT scan examinations as directed.
  • Communicate clinical observations and present patient history to radiologists.
  • Demonstrate competency in RIS/HIS modules and inject contrast for CT scans.
  • Perform 3-D imaging functions and provide educational information to patients.
  • Maintain responsibility for professional development and adhere to downtime procedures.
  • Verify patient information and ensure accuracy of digital images sent to PACS.
  • Contribute to the success of the department by achieving hospital-designated Press Ganey scores.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an ARRT-recognized education program or AART registered.
  • Advanced registry in CT required within one year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification and state license (NJDEP) required.
  • Two years of experience as a CT technologist in a hospital setting preferred.
