About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at Weill Cornell Medicine. As a Senior Patient Care Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the development of our clinical programs.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a strong background in patient assessment, health education, and electronic medical record management. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care and coordinate diagnostic tests as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Establish priorities for nursing care through patient assessment and develop nursing care plans.
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during examination, testing, and treatment of patients as needed.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary health care services and arrange diagnostic tests as ordered by physician(s) when needed.
  • Triage patient inquiries and communicate test results.
  • Ensure infection control compliance within the practice.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science Degree in Nursing.
  • Approximately 2 or more years of related work experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Current NY State Registered Nurse License & Registration.
  • BLS certification, issued by the American Heart Association.
  • Infection Control Certificate.
Salary and Benefits

This is a full-time position with an estimated salary range of $108,000 - $118,000 per year, based on location and experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
