Patient Access Manager

Job Summary:
MountainView Hospital is seeking a skilled Patient Access Manager to oversee the daily operations of our patient access functions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient registration, efficient wait times, and exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient registration duties to minimize wait times and ensure accurate patient information.
- Model AIDET guidelines in all interactions with patients and staff to promote a positive patient experience.
- Conduct quality assurance on registrations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare payroll and complete monthly work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels.
- Respond promptly to patient complaints and concerns.
- Collaborate with outside agencies on special projects developed by the corporate office.
- Review patient registration documents daily to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field required. Equivalent work experience may substitute education requirements.
- Minimum three years' experience in a related area with two years of healthcare management experience or completion of the Parallon Manager Trainee Program.
