We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Charleston, SC. As an IR Tech, you will be responsible for operating fluoroscopic equipment and assisting physicians with minimally invasive procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Confirm patient identification and review imaging requests
- Assist in scrubbing diagnostic and interventional procedures
- Monitor patients during procedures
- Demonstrate knowledge of radiation protection standards and techniques
- Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps
- Maintain accurate patient records
- 1 year of experience as an IR Tech
- ARRT (VI) certification
- ACLS and BLS certification
- State-specific licensing when required
Please note that additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
