Role Summary

The Cardiac Monitor Team Lead plays a pivotal role in maintaining excellent patient care by overseeing staff performance, equipment functionality, and supply management. This position requires strong leadership skills, effective interpersonal abilities, and a working knowledge of medical terminology.

Responsibilities
  • Oversight of Telemetry Operations: Ensure prompt resolution of issues related to staffing, scheduling, and equipment functionality.
  • Staff Performance Monitoring: Regularly evaluate staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
  • Serve as Liaison: Facilitate communication between Cardiac Monitor Technicians and clinical leadership, while proactively identifying and resolving escalations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate must possess:

  • A minimum of three years EKG interpretation experience.
  • Strong leadership skills and a working knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Effective problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
