Recreation Coordinator

This position is responsible for coordinating and supervising recreational activities at various locations, including after-school programs, special events, and weekends. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively with children and adults.

• Coordinate and supervise recreational activities, including planning daily activities for program participants.
• Maintain facilities and equipment, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for participants.
• Observe and participate in activities, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Perform cash handling procedures and register patrons for classes.
• Plan summer camp classes and instruct patrons in crafts, games, and other activities.
• Communicate with staff and the general public, providing excellent customer service.
• Complete documents and data entry, including daily attendance, incident reports, and time records.
• Comprehend written and verbal directions, adapting recreation activities to meet the needs of various age groups and participants.

• Any combination of training, education, or experience that demonstrates potential ability to perform the duties of the position.
• Valid Arizona Driver's License.
• Flexible schedules desired.

This position requires working in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with children and adults. The ideal candidate will be able to work effectively in a team setting and provide excellent customer service.
