The Opportunity

This Cybersecurity Compliance Specialist role can be performed remotely within the U.S. and offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our organization's security posture.

The successful candidate will assist in Compliance and Information Security by providing internal control assessments, auditing, and monitoring, risk management, and mitigation. They will identify risks and ensure compliance with industry standards, relevant laws, and regulations, as well as industry best practices.

This position also involves maintaining and developing appropriate policies, procedures, and documentation to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal laws. The candidate will review and evaluate compliance issues and concerns within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Support audit readiness during external and internal audits.
  • Evaluate and improve business continuity management policies and processes according to regulatory requirements.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain security governance frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Ensure the Quality Management System (QMS) is maintained and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Conduct regular reviews and audits of security processes, procedures, and controls to identify gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Provide regulatory intelligence to stakeholders on changes in security regulations impacting the organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and update security procedures, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Act as a subject matter expert on security governance, processes, and procedures, offering guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Participate in risk assessments and mitigation planning activities related to security governance and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend security enhancements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product cybersecurity or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of security concepts and best practices.
  • Experience with developing and maintaining security governance frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining Quality Management Systems (QMS).
  • Proficient in vulnerability analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $83,000.00 - $166,000.00 per year, depending on location. In addition, you'll enjoy a comprehensive benefits package, including medical coverage, retirement savings plans, tuition reimbursement, and education assistance programs.
