Cardiac Sonographer

Job Summary

The Cardiac Sonographer is responsible for performing a variety of cardiac testing, including treadmill stress testing, holter monitoring, transthoracic echocardiography, transesophageal echo, stress echo and cardiac doppler. This role requires a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy and physiology, as well as excellent technical skills.

Key Responsibilities

* Performs tests and procedures at various locations
* Maintains accurate patient logs
* Updates daily charges in the computer, utilizes cardiac lab menus in the computer
* Maintains cardiac lab patient files

Requirements

* High School Diploma or GED
* No Experience Required
* RDCS or Equivalent Required

Preferred Qualifications

* Associate's Degree in Allied Health/Sonography
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation Certification
