Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and oversee carpentry-centered production jobs to completion, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency.
  • Assess job conditions, plan time allotment, tools needed, order of work, and workload for the team, adjusting for conditions and making changes as needed.
  • Lead a highly skilled crew to install and provide solutions that meet customers' needs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Coordinate tasks and assignments, assign duties, and monitor project progress to keep it on track regarding time and budget.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Two or more years of construction-related field leadership and installation experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and driving record that meets company standards.
  • Knowledge of carpentry.
  • Ability to operate equipment and/or power tools and train others to operate them.
  • Ability and willingness to train, motivate, and inspire crew members.
  • Strong organization and time-management skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
  • Availability to work flexible days/hours, including weekends as needed.
Physical Requirements:
  • Lift heavy objects and/or up to 50 pounds, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor.
  • Lift, push, pull, or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue, and effectively lift and carry heavy loads.
  • Good manual dexterity and multi-limb coordination, with the ability to quickly move arms and legs.
  • Excellent stamina.
  • Ability to read reports, data, statistics, and information on computer screens.
