**Job Overview:**

We are seeking an experienced Meat Department Team Lead to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales in your area and supervising a team of hourly associates.

**Responsibilities:

  • Be a Team Leader: Supervise a team within the meat department to deliver on the business plan and contribute to the overall success of the club by communicating goals, executing company programs, adhering to policies, and working collaboratively with other team leaders.
  • Be an Expert: Maintain knowledge of business operations, product updates, and product specifications by ensuring the meat department meets company and regulatory standards for quality, inventory, production, equipment usage, safety, sanitation, and compliance.
  • Be a Techie: Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
  • Be an Owner: Drive business results, maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area, utilize digital tools for forecasting, planning, and production, facilitate product inventory and ordering process, ensure appropriate staffing levels, and accurate audit and compliance standards.
  • Be a Talent Ambassador: Teach and train the team by identifying training needs, providing necessary skills, encouraging career growth, and sourcing new talent.
  • Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, co-workers, customers, and other business partners.
  • Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes and practices.
  • Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools, determining customer needs and business priorities, coordinating and executing work assignments, providing advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality are achieved.

**Eligibility Requirements:**

Must be 18 years of age or older, have 6 months experience in a meat production department or 6 months experience supervising a team, and obtain Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

**Additional Compensation:**

Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met, including schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed.

The primary location of this position is 1700 Wesel Blvd, Hagerstown, MD 21740-5389, United States of America.

**Estimated Salary Range:** $24.00 - $32.00 per hour*, with additional compensation in the form of premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
