Norman Regional Health System is seeking a skilled and certified Cardiovascular Technologist to join its esteemed team. As a key member of our cardiovascular program, this individual will be responsible for preparing equipment, managing patient care, and maintaining a sterile environment during procedures.
Job Summary:
This role involves working alongside cardiologists in a state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower, equipped with three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to collaborate with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists.
- Preparation and management of equipment before and during procedures.
- Patient assessment and positioning for optimal care.
- Maintenance of a sterile environment to ensure patient safety.
- Participation in the orientation of new staff and radiology students as a preceptor.
Qualifications and Education:
The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in radiologic technology, with either a 24-month formal program or military equivalent certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS). Previous procedural area experience is highly preferred, along with certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ACLS), and RCIS designation.
Compensation and Benefits:
The successful candidate can expect a competitive hourly rate ranging from $27.84 to $45.46, based on previous work experience.
