Job Summary:

At Trinity Health Of New England, we are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team in Surgical Cardiology. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our medical team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and report patient information and data
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, diet, fluid intake, skin care, bathing, and dressing
  • Transport patients and collect specimens
  • Distribute linens and supplies to patient rooms
  • Deliver ice and beverages to patients
  • Monitor patient safety and provide support as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduate of a Connecticut-approved Nurse Aide Training Program or in process of earning a BA in Nursing or Health Sciences
  • BLS certification required
  • Previous experience as a Nursing Assistant in an acute care setting preferred
  • Ability to pass drug screening and background check
