Cashier Assistant

Job Summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, operating a cash register, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the cash wrap and surrounding areas
• Restock merchandise and supplies as needed
• Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations
• Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements of the position
• Must be able to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform the job
• Must complete the company introductory (probationary) period of 30 or 60 days

Physical Requirements

• Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending upon business needs
• Job cycles: continual max
• Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
• Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%
