About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our team at Kaiser Permanente. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care through the implementation of individualized physical therapy programs. This will involve conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients' physical status, functional abilities, and age-specific needs to determine current level of functioning
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve realistic goals and objectives
  • Deliver high-quality patient care through the implementation of evidence-based physical therapy practices
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
  • Promote effective communication among healthcare providers and stakeholders
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited program in physical therapy
  • Current licensure as a physical therapist in Oregon (Washington licensure also accepted)
  • Basic Life Support certification within two months of hire
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
Working Conditions

This is a part-time position that will require split time between the Tualatin and Sunnyside outpatient clinics. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities while maintaining a commitment to excellent patient care.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
