Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Services Director to lead our food service operations at Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of food service, including patient meals and cafeteria operations. This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in food management, business management, or a related field, as well as experience in a supervisory, administrative, or executive capacity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage food service operations, including patient meals and cafeteria services
  • Coordinate and delegate specific job duties and responsibilities to nutrition and cafeteria staff
  • Ensure all food services are prepared in a clean and safe environment
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Management, Business Management, or a related field
  • Equivalent of two years of prior full-time experience as a Nutritional Services provider, including 18 months experience in a supervisory, administrative, or executive capacity
  • Service Safety or HACCP certification

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience managing food service operations in an acute care hospital
  • Experience in retail and catering food service management
  • Experience managing a room service model for patient feeding
  • Experience using food service software to manage operations
  • Procurement/GPO/RFP experience
  • Cash handling/POS oversight experience
  • TJC/CMS/DOH survey lead experience
  • Experience managing clinical nutrition services
