Dishware Attendant

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishware Attendant to join our team at DFW Marriott Airport South. As a vital member of our culinary staff, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen facilities.

This is a full-time position that requires a strong work ethic, ability to lift heavy objects, and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing duties to maintain kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment by sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, pots, pans, and trays, and running glasses through the dish machine twice.
• Ensure all worktables, walls, refrigerators, and meat blocks are washed and sanitized regularly.
• Separate and remove trash and garbage, placing it in designated containers; steam-clean or hose out garbage cans as needed.
• Transfer supplies and equipment between storage and work areas efficiently.
• Wash and peel vegetables using a knife or peeling machine when required.
• Puts away all clean utensils and rotates stock in designated areas.

• Ability to lift, carry, or pull objects that may be heavy.
• Understand simple instructions and learn simple procedures and techniques.
• Perform routine work or the same task over and over again.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.
