Norman Regional Health System is a leading healthcare provider in the Oklahoma City metro area, known for its innovative cardiovascular program and commitment to excellence. Our state-of-the-art Critical Care Tower features three Cath Lab suites, one Electrophysiology suite, one Hybrid suite, two treatment rooms, and seventeen Same Day Surgery rooms. We work closely with a team of nine cardiologists and two electrophysiologists to provide exceptional patient care.
We are seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Cath Lab team, you will be responsible for preparing equipment before and during procedures, identifying and assessing patient condition, and providing patient care in a sterile environment. You will also serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students, participating in their orientation and training.
In addition to your clinical expertise, we value strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership to facilitate excellent patient care. To succeed in this role, you should have completion of a 24-month formal program or military program of Radiologic Technology, eligibility for the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, and current registration or certification in Cardiovascular (CV) or (CI) and/or (VI). Basic Life Support (BLS) training is required, and ACLS training must be achieved within six months of hire.
The ideal candidate will have previous procedural area experience and one year of experience working in a Cath Lab. Registered as a Radiographer with the American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) or registration from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (RCIS) is preferred. The salary range for this position is $27.84-$45.46 per hour based on previous work experience.
