Art Education Sales Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Consultant to join our team at One River School of Art + Design. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for introducing our innovative art curriculum to K-12 Private and Public Schools, Residential Facilities, After School Programs, Homeschool Associations, and other organizations that might benefit from a vibrant art education program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential sites and organizations that would benefit from our programs
- Develop and implement effective marketing strategies to promote our programs
- Cold call organizations within designated territories to schedule site visits and present our programs
- Coordinate with our NJ schools to set up programs once sales are made
- Hire and train talent to service new contracts
- Conduct quality assurance follow-up meetings to ensure repeat business
- Report to the COO and CEO on a weekly basis and prepare sales reports as required
- Troubleshoot any issues that arise and follow up consistently with potential customers
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling services in the Educational services field
- Demonstrated interest in Visual Arts
- Clean current driver's license
- Driven and goal-oriented
- Preferred: Knowledge of NJ Private and Public School Districts
- Preferred: Art or Art Education Degree
Compensation:
A generous base salary in the range of $90,000 plus 5% commissions on all sales. OTE range in second year is expected to be $115,000-125,000. Company pays 60% of health plan premiums, dental, vision, 10 vacation days rising to 15 after 5 years, 2 personal days, and 5 sick days.
