**Job Summary**



We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Intervention Specialist to join our team in Dayton, OH. As a key member of our educational team, the successful candidate will work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide targeted support and ensure the academic success of our students with special needs.



**Key Responsibilities**



- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique needs and abilities.

- Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure the successful integration of students with special needs into mainstream classrooms.

- Provide direct instruction and interventions to students, both individually and in small groups, to support their academic progress and social development.

- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies as needed to ensure optimal learning outcomes.

- Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other stakeholders to support student success and promote a collaborative approach to education.

- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in special education and to enhance teaching skills.



**Requirements**



- Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; Master's degree preferred.



- Valid Intervention Specialist licensure for the state of Ohio.



- Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs and abilities.



- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
