Position Summary

Allied Universal is currently seeking a Part-Time Shift Supervisor.

Compensation: $18.87 per hour

Work Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays

We provide flexible pay options, including DailyPay and WeeklyPay.

The Shift Supervisor - Unarmed will oversee the security operations of a prominent client's facility, ensuring the safety of the property and its surroundings during their assigned shift. This role involves executing general security responsibilities as outlined in the post orders, aimed at deterring criminal activities and misconduct.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Initiate emergency notifications as required by site Post Orders.
  • Guide and instruct team members on their duties.
  • Facilitate cross-training for officers to enhance versatility and operational efficiency.
  • Provide recommendations to management for productivity improvements and cost reductions.
  • Suggest enhancements for physical security assessments and post orders.
  • Advise on personnel actions for those under direct supervision.
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, and on-site training for security officers assigned to the shift.
  • Ensure compliance with contract-required training and screening for security personnel.
  • Maintain overtime within established limits set by Allied Universal.
  • Regularly evaluate the quality of service and adherence to contract requirements by inspecting security personnel and their performance.
  • Carry out additional operational tasks, including payroll management, incident report reviews, and assisting in security surveys and post orders.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local regulations and may need to be fulfilled prior to employment.
  • Possession of a current and valid driver's license.
  • Must meet one or more of the following criteria:
    • Associate's degree or higher in any field.
    • Service in active-duty military, military reserves, or National Guard.
    • Experience as auxiliary police or police cadets.
    • A minimum of one (1) year of verifiable and successful security experience.
  • At least two (2) years of verifiable work experience demonstrating:
    • Exceptional customer service abilities.
    • Ability to maintain composure during emergencies.
    • Understanding and application of written and verbal instructions, as well as report writing.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills; capable of writing clearly and informatively.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Skills in coaching, mentoring, and motivating team members.
  • Active listening capabilities.
  • Ability to foster effective teamwork.
  • Competence in assessing and evaluating situations accurately.
  • Ability to synthesize facts, concepts, and principles.
  • Quick identification of critical issues.
  • Skills in compiling, sorting, and interpreting data.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Emergency Management Systems, including FEMA Incident Command Certification; ICO 100, 200, 300.
  • Familiarity with EMS protocols, Medical First Responder, or Emergency Medical Technician training.
