At COMPANION PET PARTNERS, LLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Alpine Animal Hospital. As a Veterinary Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our veterinarians in delivering top-notch medical services.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Obtain patient history from clients and restrain animals safely and humanely.
  • Complete lab work, take radiographs, and perform intravenous catheter placement as directed.
  • Administer injections and other treatments, monitor anesthesia, and prepare patients for surgery.
  • Provide excellent patient care, including dental prophylaxis and imaging, and fill prescriptions accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, providing clear and concise information about patient care and treatment options.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of experience in veterinary assisting, with a focus on anesthesia monitoring and dental assisting.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence.
