Operations Manager Job Description

At LUMIN Schools, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing overall structure and support in the day-to-day needs of running the operations of the school.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage school operations, including administrative tasks, facilities maintenance, and logistics.
  • Supervise and train administrative assistants to ensure efficient and effective support.
  • Coordinate and manage parent-teacher conferences, attendance, and tardiness.
  • Oversee ordering and inventory management, including classroom supplies and materials.
  • Manage field trips, including planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Ensure compliance with school policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to ensure a positive and supportive school environment.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Experience working in an urban school environment, including knowledge of issues facing at-risk youth.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and work in a professional manner with a diverse population.
Working Conditions:

The Operations Manager will work in a school environment, with the ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. The position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
