Job Description:

As an Advanced Medical Care Professional, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care on our busy medical surgical unit. With a focus on providing individualized attention to each patient, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement effective care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care possible, from admission through discharge.

Responsibilities:

- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on self-care techniques and disease management strategies.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Indiana or a compact licensed state.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical surgical nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
