Coffee Regional Medical Center is a leading healthcare provider in the region, and we are currently seeking a dedicated Pediatric Nurse to join our medical team.



Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Pediatric Nurse to provide high-quality patient care to children of all ages. As a member of our medical team, you will be responsible for assessing patients' needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.



Responsibilities:

  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement interventions to promote optimal health outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care, including physicians, therapists, and social workers
  • Administer medications, perform treatments, and provide education to patients and families on healthy habits and disease management
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care, including progress notes, medication lists, and treatment plans
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote safe and effective patient care
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric nursing practice, participate in ongoing education and training opportunities, and apply this knowledge to improve patient care and outcomes


Requirements:

  • RN licensure in good standing, with experience in pediatrics or related field
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Basic computer literacy and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, handle sensitive information discreetly, and adhere to HIPAA guidelines

Compensation

The estimated annual salary range for this position is $65,000 - $90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer additional compensation for certifications, continuing education, and leadership roles.
