Welder - Steel Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Arvada, CO manufacturing team at Wastequip Manufacturing Co., LLC.

This is an excellent opportunity for a MIG Welder with experience in a fast-paced production environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong problem-solving skills and be able to work effectively in a team setting.

• Position parts in jigs or fixtures on benches or floors, or clamp parts together along layout marks.
• Lay out, position, and tack weld work pieces.
• Weld along vertical, horizontal, and overhead weld lines.
• Connect regulator valves to oxygen and fuel gas cylinders for cutting torches.
• Examine welds for bead size and other specifications.
• Scarff or groove welds and parts.
• Chip or grind off excess weld, slag, or splatter.

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• One to six months of related experience and/or training preferred.
• The ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Knowledge of basic math, tape measure reading, fractions, and decimals.
• The ability to understand and carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• The ability to read blueprints and measuring tapes.

Salary: $24.54 per hour, depending on experience.
