About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Carpentry Professional to join our team in Dayton, OH. This is a great opportunity to work with a leading employer and be part of a dynamic team.

Job Responsibilities
  • Ensure workplace safety by adhering to established rules and regulations.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.
  • Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using various tools.
  • Assemble and fasten materials to create frameworks or props.
  • Analyze blueprints and specifications to prepare project layouts and determine required dimensions and materials.
  • Craft structures according to specifications using hand tools, machines, and power saws.
  • Erect scaffolding or ladders for assembling structures above ground level.
  • Install structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware.
  • Construct rough door and window frames, subflooring, fixtures, or temporary supports in structures undergoing construction or repair.
  • Built-in or repair cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures used in buildings.
  • Furnish surfaces of woodwork or wallboard in houses or buildings using paint, hand tools, or paneling.
  • Fill cracks or defects in plaster or plasterboard and sand patch using patching plaster, trowel, and sanding tool.
  • Apply shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, or decorative paneling to ceilings or walls.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in Carpentry and Building.
  • Knowledge of Metal Stud Framing.
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools.
  • Able to read blueprints, drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
  • Drywall Hanging and Finishing skills.
  • High School diploma required.
  • Valid Driver's License and own transportation to and from work necessary.
