Salary Range

$18.00 - $38.00 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Safety Specialist Co-op to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects related to electrical safety, including training team members on proper procedures, conducting investigations, and implementing injury reduction strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Hazardous recognition and assessment
  • Development and delivery of training programs for team members
  • Investigation and analysis of electrical incidents
  • Implementation of safety initiatives to reduce injuries
  • Collaboration with project managers to ensure compliance with safety protocols

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Environmental Health and Safety Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA
  • Proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD
  • Ability to work 40-hour weeks during rotations

Co-op Requirements

  • Complete three rotations for a 1.5-year commitment
  • Enrolled in school during semesters
  • Willingness and ability to commit to a minimum of three rotations
