Job Summary

This role is responsible for designing, executing, and synthesizing point analytics to support specific questions, programs, or initiatives at Highmark Health. The incumbent will leverage and utilize the organization's strategies, goals, and processes to answer critical business and research questions by analyzing large volumes and varieties of data.

Key Responsibilities

- Consult with stakeholders to translate complex analytical results into actionable insights tailored for specific audiences.
- Develop clear and compelling reports, presentations, and data visualizations that connect high-level problem specifications, analytical methods, and results to business or scientific objectives.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs, processes, and initiatives, identifying opportunities to deliver value and scientific insights through analytical solutions.

Requirements

- Doctorate's degree in Statistics, Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Computer & Information Science, Computational Biology, Economics, Experimental Psychology, Neuroscience, Engineering, or other quantitative fields of study or relevant experience and/or education as determined by the company in lieu of Doctorate's degree.
- 10 years of experience in Data Analytics, including 3 years utilizing Statistical Software, Large Datasets, and/or Data Visualization, 3 years of Machine Learning and/or Advanced/Non-Standard Statistics, 3 years of Healthcare industry experience, and 1 year in Human Subject Scientific Research and/or Industry Research and Development.

Preferred Qualifications

- 3 years of experience in Scientific Research with multiple first-author peer-reviewed publications in high-impact journals. Principal Investigator/Published
