Job Summary

As a Registered Nurse General Surgery at Mission Hospital, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients undergoing general surgery procedures. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing principles, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care plans
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage patient equipment
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree or equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • One year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in general surgery
