We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at PACS Inc. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Responsibilities

  • ">
  • Evaluate patients within twenty-four hours or one business day of physician referral.">
  • Develop effective treatment plans and obtain approval for services from referring physicians.">
  • Treat patients according to physician treatment plans.">
  • Assist nursing departments with training of Restorative Aides.">
  • Supervise Physical Therapy Assistants in direct patient care and patient-related activities.">
  • Communicate with supervisors and other healthcare professionals regarding patient progress, problems, and plans.">
  • Participate in Patient Care Conferences, Utilization Review meetings, and Rehabilitation Conferences as needed.">
  • Record evaluations, daily treatment notes, weekly progress notes, recertification documentation, and treatment changes according to PT Board State Practice Act and governmental requirements.">
  • Instruct patients' families or nursing staff in maintenance programs and caregiver training before discharge from therapy services.">
  • Participate in discharge planning and recommend durable medical equipment for patients to facilitate independence in mobility.">
  • Report any problems with department equipment to maintain its good working order.">

Requirements

  • ">
  • Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or equivalent experience.">
  • Proficient in computer skills, including inputting data into programs like Casamba and Point Click Care.">
  • Licensed as a Physical Therapist in the state.">
  • Ability to read technical procedures, policy manuals, and effectively present information.">
  • Ability to apply mathematical concepts to practical situations and solve problems.">
  • Ability to interpret instructions and adapt to changing circumstances.">

Salary Information

">

The estimated salary range for this position is $45-$75 per hour, depending on experience, DOE, status, and seniority.
