Senior Business Recovery Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Business Recovery Specialist to join our team at First Citizens Bank.
About the Role
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Business Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for collecting past due payments from small business clients, while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Contact past due clients to secure payment arrangements or apply the appropriate treatment to resolve delinquency.
- Serve as a liaison between the branch and client to ensure streamlined account resolution.
- Establish rapport and deliver exceptional client service while maintaining the highest standard of professionalism and call quality.
- Document accounts, use correct system coding, and submit account maintenance with accuracy.
- Maintain a strong knowledge of Bank policies while navigating multiple systems to ensure procedures and applicable regulations are followed at all times.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in Business Collections.
- Preferred Education: Bachelor's degree.
- Skill(s): Knowledge of and ability to follow Bank policies, procedures, and applicable regulations at all times.
- Skill(s): Effective communication skills to include active listening, empathy, Ability to negotiate and collect, Ability to type and talk and work in multiple systems simultaneously, Level of attention to detail and accuracy including written skills.
