Rigging Craft Supervisor

As a Rigging Craft Supervisor at BAE Systems USA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient execution of ship repair projects. This position requires a strong background in rigging and a proven ability to lead and supervise a team of skilled tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily work performed by the rigging team to ensure compliance with company safety protocols and quality standards.
- Develop and review project schedules and budgets to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of projects.
- Allocate personnel and resources to support all contracts and work items, including shift work.
- Monitor and evaluate project performance, including schedule adherence, budget management, and quality control.
- Perform personnel-related functions, including supervision, performance management, and training.
- Ensure that employees understand and adhere to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent degree and at least 5 years' experience in rigging or a related field.
- Ability to read and comprehend NAVSEA standard work items.
- Demonstrated technical knowledge in rigging and a proven ability to plan, schedule, supervise, and direct the work of other employees.
- Ability to use discretion and judgment in making operations and personnel decisions.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office programs and similar software.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to obtain DBIDS to access military bases.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
- Ship repair experience.
Pay Information
Full-time salary range: $133,870. Please note that individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors, including business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications.
