**Job Description**

We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Senior Field Engineer. This is a growth and development position that offers significant autonomy, with opportunities for career advancement and leadership roles within NNL.

The Senior Field Engineer will be responsible for conducting highly visible work with a broad spectrum of responsibility, including technical support, consultation, and oversight through the performance of installation, testing, diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair of complex equipment and nuclear systems.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field, and 6 years of relevant experience. Alternatively, you can have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in engineering or science-related field, and 4 years of relevant experience.

You will also need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, previous experience in applying innovative solutions to resolve problems/improve performance, and prior Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program operational or design experience is desired but not required.

**Benefits**

As an NNL employee, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $92,900.00 - $118,000 annually, based on candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. **Location**

This position is located at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard Reactor Plant Contractors' Office (RPCO). The RPCO Field Engineers function as independent company representatives at nuclear capable shipyards and Naval Bases.
