Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Professional to join our team in Boston. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and revenue in the life sciences industry.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
- Proactively identify and engage with potential clients to understand their needs and deliver tailored solutions.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers and stakeholders.
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.
- Analyze competitors and industry dynamics to inform strategic business development initiatives.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans related to business development activities.
- Provide regular updates and reports to upper management.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand our network and visibility.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Proven success in business development, sales, or related role in the life sciences industry.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in selling professional services related to validation services, quality, engineering, and related.
- Proven success in achieving sales goals and driving business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
