About the Role

PennState Health is seeking a skilled Healthcare Professional to fill a key position as Stroke Coordinator. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating multidisciplinary activities related to the Stroke program, working collaboratively with medical directors, coordinators, and nurse leaders. They will possess strong knowledge and skills to provide care for adult and geriatric patients participating in the program.

The Stroke Coordinator will focus on data management, providing support to ensure program-related activities are carried out efficiently. This may include team coordination, chart review, real-time evaluation of response and documentation, bedside education for patients and staff, support groups, and educational events. The individual will serve as a subject matter expert in accreditation activities.

Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of related clinical experience is required.
  • A state RN license is mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Program management or research background is preferred.
  • Experience in Performance Improvement is preferred.
  • Certification in a related area is preferred.

Compensation and Location

This role is based in Marysville, Pennsylvania, with an estimated salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are committed to ensuring fair compensation for our employees, recognizing the value they bring to our organization.
