We are seeking a skilled Rental Equipment Inspector to join our team at H&E Equipment Services. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of heavy equipment maintenance and safety protocols.



Responsibilities:




  • Conduct thorough inspections of rental equipment to assess their condition, functionality, and safety compliance
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs, including parts used and work performed
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks and testing of rental equipment to ensure operational capabilities
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to promote a safe working environment


Preferred Qualifications:




  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Basic knowledge in the maintenance of general equipment or automotive
  • Team player with willingness to help in other areas of the shop and yard
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds
